Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child at my side and other children in the cradle, I worked 12 hours a day grinding floors and cutting off wallpaper. Ha! Everything was starting to fall in place, yet it was not quite done. To complete this task I had planned to spend a considerable amount of money and spend time looking for my dream house. In order to stay in the realm of budgets, I took to going with my boys to estate sales looking for of diamonds. Our weekly routine was to walk from Thursday through Saturday through estate sales and garage sales to purchase a mix of antique and brand new furniture as well as spending on weekdays painting and sanding the driveway. The furniture looked like this... and that's where I found my love for restoring. After our home was finished, I didn't want to put it down! There was a spot on the market in town that I could sell my items. I eventually had numerous pieces that I did not have a clue what to do with them and my storage space was a mess. There were open houses in my home which saw over 1 000 guests came through on a single weekend and could purchase anything they wanted on the first floor. This is where my business Growing Days was born. While my company grew and so did our small family. In some ways, I was able to find the perfect balance between being a mum and starting my new company. Growing Days fit perfectly. My beautiful Nora arrived in the year 2013, our 4th child. I loved where my business was heading but I needed to take a breather. I opted to take a little breaks from my old furniture and stay at home with the children. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time. It rang once more after some time. They wanted my help in interior decoration and renovations. These people had mostly visited my house at the open houses that were held for furniture. I started taking on some clients one at a time working at my own pace but it wasn't too for long to have numerous accounts and had an entire home improvement business. If you had told me that this business of mine would turn into the premise of a tv show on DIY Network I probably would have laughed. When I look back, it still makes me laugh.
